Service overview

The systems we install are built to last decades — if they are looked after. Barakat Arabia’s MEP facility management service keeps buildings comfortable, compliant and efficient long after handover.

We take over the operation and maintenance of HVAC plant, electrical distribution, generators and UPS, plumbing and pumps, fire protection and BMS. Planned preventive maintenance follows manufacturer recommendations, reactive call-outs are handled by trained technicians, and regular reports track asset condition, faults and energy use. Because our engineers design and install these same systems, they diagnose problems quickly and recommend upgrades that lower running costs. We maintain buildings we delivered and those installed by others.

What does MEP facility management include?

Operation and maintenance of a building’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems — planned preventive maintenance, breakdown response, plant operation, inspections, and reporting on asset condition and energy use.

Do you maintain systems installed by other contractors?

Yes. We start with an asset survey and condition assessment, then build a maintenance plan for the existing systems.

Why is preventive maintenance important?

Regular maintenance prevents costly breakdowns, extends equipment life, keeps life-safety systems ready and reduces energy consumption.

Can maintenance be combined with upgrades?

Yes. As an MEP contractor we can carry out the replacements and energy-saving upgrades our maintenance reports recommend.
