Service overview

For hospitals, data rooms, factories, hotels and towers, a power cut is never just an inconvenience. Barakat Arabia designs and installs power storage and backup systems that take over automatically and safely.

We size standby diesel generators and UPS systems from critical-load studies, then install generators with their fuel and exhaust systems, automatic transfer switches and synchronisation panels for multiple sets, and UPS and battery systems for sensitive equipment. Every system is load-tested and commissioned with the building’s distribution and BMS, and our maintenance teams keep generators and batteries ready with scheduled runs and inspections. Our industrial and pharmaceutical references include the EPC VCM plant in Alexandria and Badr Pharma in Cairo.

How we deliver

From drawings to handover

One accountable team manages design, procurement, installation and commissioning — so every system is coordinated on site.

01

Critical-load study

Identify essential loads and autonomy needs, then size generators and UPS.

02

Equipment selection

Generators, switchgear, UPS and batteries submitted and approved.

03

Installation

Sets, fuel, exhaust, transfer and synchronisation panels installed.

04

Load testing

Load-bank tests, transfer tests and integration with the BMS.

What size generator does my building need?

It depends on which loads must stay on during an outage and for how long. We carry out a critical-load study and size the generator, ATS and fuel storage accordingly.

What is the difference between a UPS and a generator?

A UPS provides instant, uninterrupted power from batteries for sensitive equipment. A generator starts within seconds and supplies larger loads for longer periods. Most critical facilities use both.

Can multiple generators work together?

Yes. Synchronisation panels let several generator sets share the load, add redundancy and run efficiently at partial loads.

Do you maintain generators and UPS systems?

Yes. Scheduled maintenance includes test runs, fluid and filter changes, battery checks and transfer tests, so backup power is ready when needed.
